Before you fill this out, please read our vetting process and privacy document. It explains what we'll do with your information, who can see it, and how long we keep it.

About you

Scene name * The name you'd like to be known by in the community. This is what appears on your profile and what other members see. Your legal name is collected separately via ID verification and only visible to vetters.

Email * Used for your account login and for status updates. Use whatever address you're comfortable receiving messages at.

Password * At least 12 characters. We recommend a passphrase of several unrelated words rather than a complex single password.

Confirm password *

Which US state? * We use this to pre-fill the public registry search. If you've lived in multiple states recently, pick the state you currently live in and mention the others in the notes below.

ID verification

How would you like us to verify your ID? No option is preferred. The in-person path is slower because it happens at a munch, but no digital image of your ID ever exists.

Online ID verification. Faster, and you can do it from home. You'll photograph your ID and take a brief selfie; our verification partner (a third party) verifies your legal name and date of birth. We only receive the verified data, never the ID image itself.

In person at a munch. Slower. A vetter looks at your physical ID at your first munch and records the verification in our system. No photo or scan is taken; the vetter hands it back. Pick this if you'd rather no image of your ID exist digitally.

Other legal names

Have you used any other legal names in the past 10 years? (optional) Common reasons: marriage, divorce, transition. We ask so the public registry search is complete. This field is encrypted in our database and visible only to vetters.

References

List 1–2 references from people in the local scene who can vouch for you. If you're new to the area or new to the scene, leave this blank and tell us in the notes below — we have alternative paths.

Haven't told your references yet? It's fine to leave this section blank for now and submit without references. Once you've let them know they may receive an email from us, you can add them from your application status page. We'd rather wait a few days for you to ping them than send a cold email to someone who isn't expecting it.

Age confirmation

I am 21 years of age or older. Off The Traxx events are 21+ with no exceptions. We verify photo ID at the door at every event, including longtime members.

Safer-sex agreement

Off The Traxx does not ask about your STI status, sexual history, or testing schedule, and you should never feel obliged to share that information with the venue. What we do ask is that everyone at our events follows the same on-premises safer-sex rules, so the people you negotiate with can trust the baseline is shared.
