  • Scene-suggestion engine on
    Code:
    /scenes
     — leverage the new scene-negotiation infrastructure to surface "based on your Y/N/M, here's a low-intensity first-scene template" or "you and your partner both rated X high, here are 5 items to propose tonight." Natural extension of the tag→item resolution we just wired; tradeoff is it shifts the form from "blank canvas" to "suggested starting point," which a few users may find pushy.
  • Inline vocabulary tooltips on items — hover/tap an item title in the lists view → 1-2 sentence definition. Especially valuable for the 355-item catalog where newcomers mark unfamiliar items "no" by default rather than "maybe." Tradeoff: adds an admin field (
    Code:
    item.definition
    ) that needs populating.
  • Pre-scene "today's version" check-in — the Foundations class explicitly recommends this for familiar partners ("how are you feeling today, anything different from usual"). A 30-second flow that auto-attaches a tiny snapshot to a scene draft. Tradeoff: yet another modal/touch point; might feel like friction for couples who already have the conversation organically.
  • Starter-set onboarding — first-time users rate ~30 high-leverage items instead of facing the full 355. The class says "yeses and nos answer themselves; the maybes are where the work is" — a starter pack surfaces maybes faster and reduces drop-off. Tradeoff: needs a curated 30-item list which is a content decision more than a code one.
