Site feedback goes here. Features you wish existed, things that don't work the way you'd expect, design choices that grate, accessibility friction, weird bugs. If it's about the website itself — the forum, the LMS, Yes/No/Maybe, Tales, the application form, anything you click — this is the room.
What goes here:
- Feature requests ("could the calendar export to iCal?")
- UX friction ("the apply form lost my answers when I hit back")
- Design feedback ("the high-contrast theme is unreadable on mobile for me")
- Bug reports ("the Yes/No/Maybe partner-compare gives me a 500 error")
- Accessibility issues
What doesn't:
- Incidents involving other members — incident form, not here
- Conflicts with other members — Conflict Resolution / Community Concerns
- Event programming ideas — Suggestions → Events
- Class / curriculum ideas — there's a Class Suggestions form in the LMS; that's the canonical path
A few things about this room:
- We read everything; we can't build everything. OTT runs on a small volunteer development team. Suggestions get triaged: quick fixes happen fast, larger features go on a list. "We see it, we agree, it's not next" is sometimes the honest answer.
- Be specific. "The site is hard to use" is hard to act on. "I tried to submit my application on mobile and the date picker covered the submit button on iPhone Safari" is something we can fix in an afternoon.
- Repro steps help. What you did, what you expected, what actually happened.
- +1s are useful. If a suggestion you like is already posted, reply rather than starting a new thread — it tells us how many people are running into the same thing.
