This forum is for introductions, questions, and lurking. All three are equally fine. If you're new and not sure what's appropriate to ask — that's exactly what this section is for.
Four ways to engage; pick whichever fits.
- Apply for vetting. Photo ID + sex-offender registry check. Vetting takes a few weeks. The Foundations classes (Consent, Negotiation, Safety 101, Community 101) unlock the same day you submit — you're not waiting weeks to start learning.
- Take a Foundations class. All four are free, self-paced, and open the moment you apply. You can be reading Consent 101 ten minutes after submitting your application.
- Come to a public event. No application needed for munches. Check the Events page for the next one — show up, order what you like, find a table. Clothes on, conversation only, 21+ with ID.
- Read around. Voices, Credits, and Achievements (Tales menu) are public — anyone can browse. The site map gives you a feel for what's here.
A few things about this forum:
- Use a scene name. The one you use elsewhere is fine; it doesn't have to match your legal name.
- Intros go in new topics — keep this thread as the reference.
- Don't out people. Not their identity, kinks, or whether they're a member here. Outing is one of the few things that gets you removed without much process.
- Be patient. Staff are volunteers; weeknight evenings are the busy reply window.
- If your question lands a "good question — we'll add that to the FAQ," you've just contributed something. We appreciate it.
A few things about us:
- No dues, ever. No donations either. Public events are free (you cover your own bar tab). Private events with a real cost get a per-event door fee that covers exactly that.
- Wide tent — we don't gatekeep by what you're into, as long as everyone involved is consenting and your conduct toward others holds up.
- Re-vetting is annual. Membership isn't a permanent door key; it's an ongoing relationship.
No path here is wrong. Start where you can.
