Off The Traxx Dungeon — a text adventure
The reply is one word.
A year of community decisions. Ninety minutes. Yours.
21+. Adult content — an adult kink community, frankly discussed. You'll confirm you're 21 or older before the story begins.
“Saturday afternoon. Coffee shop on Maple. 2 to 4. Casual — just people meeting people. No pressure either way. — Alex”
You've stared at the text for two days.
You know what kind of thing it is. You've read the rosy posts and the dark ones; none of them prepared you for the fact that real people in your real city sit in a real coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon talking about the same things you've been turning over alone.
The reply is one word. Yes or no.
- Type “yes” before I can talk myself out of it.
- Yes — but ask what the dress code is first.
- Maybe. Sit with it another day.
- Thank Alex but say no. This isn't the one.
This is the first screen. Every choice routes somewhere different. The decline is a real path, not a game-over.
You'll need a Joomla account on this site. The game asks nothing about your real-life kinks — only an archetype.
What this is
- A text adventure. Interactive fiction in the Twine / Choice of Games vein. You read; you pick; the world responds.
- The first year inside a kink community. First munch, first negotiation, first scene, first DM shift, first time someone emails you a hard note. Composite characters, composite incidents. Nothing here happened to anyone real.
- Foundations curriculum, taught by feel. Consent, vetting, drop care, accountability, DM mechanics — the same material the in-person Foundations classes cover, but as scenes you walk rather than slides you read. A complement to the classes, not a substitute.
- About 90 minutes for the full arc. Five for the cold open. You can put it down between chapters and your slot waits. Three save slots per account.
- Branchy. Decline anything you want. The game has paths for "no, not this one" all the way through. The community keeps offering, the way it does in real life. You can also replay as a different archetype and watch the world reshape itself.
What's in there right now
- 34 chapters
- 249 scenes
- 95 badges to unlock
- 48 anonymous voices on the wall
What this isn't
- Not a substitute for in-person Foundations. Take the classes. Meet the humans.
- Not a quiz. There's no "right answer" score; there's what you did and what followed from it.
- Not erotica. There's tenderness and there's intensity, but the camera doesn't follow people into rooms.
- Not a tutorial you have to "complete." Put it down whenever. The slot waits.
- Not a recording of anyone real. Composite NPCs. Composite incidents. Any resemblance is genre, not identity.
Privacy, in plain words
- You need a Joomla account on this site to play. Standard signup.
- The game asks for an archetype (newcomer / explorer / seasoned / mentor) and a kink role. Both are about the character you're playing, not a disclosure about you. You can pick "not sure."
-
Two surfaces share anything beyond your own slot, and both default to
off:
- The Voices wall — anonymized snippets of things players typed in "type your own words" inputs. Opt-in, no name attached.
- The Credits page — your display name and the archetype you played, when you finish a full arc. Opt-in.
- You can delete a playthrough from inside the game.
- The full source is on GitHub. The privacy code is in a service class you can read.
Who this is for
- People curious about Off The Traxx who want a feel for the texture before showing up to a munch.
- Members who want to walk the Foundations material from a different angle.
- Anyone who likes text-heavy interactive fiction and wants something that means it.
- Replayers — the world remembers across saves; the same chapter reads differently as a different archetype.
